Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser - 2gether Support Solutions Ltd. (herein referred to as "our" or "us" or "we") was formed in April 2018 as a new, wholly owned subsidiary company of one of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts in the UK, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (the "Trust"). We provide essential support services to the Trust, from facilities and property management to catering, procurement and portering. We are seeking to appoint a professionally qualified, competent and suitably experienced Dangerous Good Safety Adviser to: • assess, and prevent, the risks involved in the carriage of dangerous goods. This includes risks to people, property and the environment; and • oversee, and ensure, our compliance with Health Technical Memorandum 07-01: Safe and sustainable management of healthcare waste, along with supporting the drive to net zero carbon emissions by 2045. Other DGSA responsibilities shall include: • monitoring compliance with the legal requirements governing the carriage of dangerous goods; • providing advice on how to transport dangerous goods safely; • investigating any accidents or infringements of regulations and keeping records of them through reports; • monitoring the provision of training and advice to other 2gether staff; • reporting incidents and accidents to the Department for Transport; and • based on their findings, completing annual audit reports on our performance. TRG Legal services framework agreement - Now closed please do not bid - The Riverside Group Limited (TRGL) invite tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to provide legal services to TRGL, including all subsidiaries. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes all former One Housing entities. This procurement is to replace the current framework and will complement TRGL's in-house legal provision, particularly during periods of peak business demands and if any specialist advice is required. The framework agreement is for an initial term of 2 years with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months up to a maximum of 4 years. The contract is to cover requirements for England but excludes Scotland.
