West Yorkshire Freight Study - As part of the development of the new Local Transport Plan for West Yorkshire, we are looking to develop our understanding of the freight and logistics sectors and strengthen our policy position in relation to freight and logistics. This is needed in order to support the freight sector to contribute to the emerging vision and ambitions for our LTP. Our emerging LTP vision is that: 'By 2040 the West Yorkshire will be a recognised globally as a fair and inclusive region where our communities, businesses and places all benefit from sustainable economic growth. Enabled through a zero emission, affordable, integrated, safe and sustainable transport system'. The draft strategic ambitions which will support this vision are: • Boosting productivity through an integrated, reliable, and resilient transport network that supports growth which expands our labour markets, increases innovation and creates jobs. • Enabling inclusive growth by connecting our people and communities with opportunities, delivering equal access for all and eliminating transport related social exclusion. • Tackling the climate emergency through the fair and inclusive decarbonisation of our transport network, delivering the right choice of transport, in the right place, at the right time New LTPs will also have a greater focus on reducing carbon emissions from transport, so we need to understand these emissions associated with the freight sector and how we can work with industry and local authorities to improve performance and reduce the negative impacts that freight can have on communities and the environment

Fundraising and Enterprise Consultancy - Traditionally, the Fundraising & Enterprise (F&E) team has been raising revenue income (c.18% of BFI's charitable income) from a combination of business partnerships, philanthropy, trusts, events and commercial deals, to support largely budget-relieving activities for the BFI London Film Festival; our year-round cultural programme; the upkeep of the collections in the BFI National Archive; and our education activities. In 2023 the BFI published an ambitious 10-year strategy Screen Culture 2033 (SC33). The strategy identifies several long-term objectives, all of which are dependent, in different degrees, on additional income, including fundraised and commercial income. This includes plans to grow the BFI's digital platforms, and to make the BFI National Archive the most open collection of its kind in the world. To support the BFI's ambitions, we have recently agreed a new fundraising strategy, focussed on achieving a step change in our fundraising income over a period of three-years plus. This will be shared with those consultants invited to tender. One of our first priorities is to work with a consultant to review our ways of working across all aspects of our fundraising operation (philanthropy, business partnerships, trusts and fundraising events) and assess and finesse our ambition as we prepare for significant income growth.

The aim of this project is to create a suite of capable suppliers who can deliver a range of specialist, consultancy services across all the key business areas within the West Midlands Growth Company during the term including, but not limited to Inward Investment, Capital Attraction, Strategic Research and Evaluation. This tender has been divided into five Lots and potential suppliers may bid for one or multiple Lots dependant on their business capabilities. There are no restrictions on the number of Lots that a Tenderer can bid for or be awarded. WMGC intends to appoint multiple suppliers to each Lot and this will be based on the highest scoring tenders for that Lot. Further details on the number of suppliers can be found in Section 2.1 In the event that fewer tenderers apply for a Lot than is included in the table below, WMGC will evaluate all compliant tenderers for the Lot. If any tender response is scored a "0" against any of the award criteria, this will result in the tender being excluded from this process. WMCG reserves the right not to award for any or all Lots of this framework.
