SIM Power Hall Exhibition Illustration and Animation Production - The new Power Hall will be a must-see Manchester experience - a living gallery which showcases a unique collection of historic working engines, powered by 21st century, carbon-neutral infrastructure. The gallery's new narrative tells the story of Manchester as an epicentre of industry and explores the story of our complex relationship with engines. The Science Museum Group (SMG) are seeking to appoint an animator-illustrator to deliver a series of engaging, dynamic and peopled digital animations and graphic illustrations that will play a key role in the gallery experience. We require: - 6 short digital animations (3 x touchscreen/interactive and 3 x video only). - 37 graphic illustrations / icons. The digital animations will help enliven the gallery and enable us to visually explain the key science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) principles that underpin how our engines work. Five of the digital animations will be stand-alone experiences and one will be part of a physical interactive. The graphic illustrations will support visitors to use the interactives, engage with the objects on gallery and make links to everyday, relatable objects or scenarios.

Purchase - Supply Of Wayfinding Signage / Terminals For Stowmarket Mid Suffolk - *** MARKET TEST*** Mid Suffolk district council is gathering information to be able to put a business case together to build a project we are seeking to procure in the future. Mid Suffolk District council is seeking to request interested suppliers to provide details on their product solution they feel would best fit the below requirements we have given. We are requesting that suppliers through the Suffolk Sourcing portal please submit details of the products your offering as the best solution, with a detailed overview of the products specification, functionality and any other relevant details you feel would be of interest and help us with our business case. We would also ask you please submit a pricing list so we are able to review the product costs and ensure we have suitable budget when we look to purchase. We are also open to additions to the below requirements your product solution can deliver please include these in your response to us. Please see below an overview of the project and our requirements we are looking to meet. 1. Town wide Wayfinding & Creative Placemaking Station Welcome At the Station visitors should be welcomed by Information Board. The Information Board outlines the landscape of Stowmarket and what is on offer during that week or month. It also includes place-based community messaging functions and links to the online Stowmarket content via QR code. We feel a simple direction, such as "head for the spire and you won't go far wrong" might be enough in complement to existing finger posts already installed. For visitors who aren't familiar with where they are heading, some degree of communicating progress along the route would be useful and we have suggested additional signage on the way-- or pavement way markers (i.e., York). Where the River Gipping is crossed, an information sign could provide comfort that the walker is still on the right track. But also tells them of the remarkable blue and green infrastructure that abounds in and around the town. The crossroads of Gipping Way and Station Road East and West could be improved to prioritise pedestrian movement towards the town centre where the Churchyard begins, wayfinding could be part (but not all) of the solution here. At the Churchyard the visitor is greeted by another information board welcoming them to the first key green space in Stowmarket (Project2). Car Parks The many Stowmarket car parks are an important transition point between people's journey into Stowmarket and continuing by foot on arrival. It is likely that people will follow the instructions of a map on their smartphone; we cannot change that. Some car park users will know exactly how to get to their destination and may only need a reminder of the best route, for some it will be their first visit; but for all - interventions should seek to offer a welcoming and reassuring dialogue through wayfinding and placemaking. In a context where people follow th...
