Kings Award for Enterprise Trophy (Manufacture & Supply) - The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) has a requirement for the manufacture and delivery of trophies for the Kings Awards for Enterprise. You are invited to tender for Kings Award Trophy in competition in accordance with the attached document. The requirement is for the design, manufacture, quality control and delivery of the Awards. The Kings Awards for Enterprise are the UKs most prestigious awards for businesses. The Awards recognise and reward outstanding achievement by UK organisations. Each year, the winners of the Kings Awards for Enterprise are presented with a trophy. The Kings Awards Office is responsible for ordering the quantity of trophies required each year and instructing the supplier on the delivery addresses Requirement, budget, spend approvals and documents. The supplier will be responsible for the design, manufacture, quality control and delivery of the Awards and preferably be based in the UK. They must be able to deliver all trophies by the required date of 31 July each year, subject to agreed timescales once the contract has been awarded. It estimated that 250-300 trophies per year are required, though this will fluctuate depending on number of applications. The number of trophies required will be confirmed by the Kings Awards Office in March each year. The trophies should be distinctive and designed to reflect the new modern Kings Awards, while retaining the prestige of achieving an award of this stature. The dimensions of the proposed trophy design should not exceed 22cm in width, 25cm height and 1740 grams. The trophy should be made from sustainable materials. The Kings Awards Team would welcome designs which encompass the tradition of a crystal element in some way, however the team encourages new designs. The maximum contract value for the requirement, including all extension options, is £79,200 excluding VAT. The Authority is using e-Tendering for this Procurement. Invitation to Tender for the provision of Subscription Stickers Service (Pack for fully chargeable garden collection service) - The Council has a power under the Controlled Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2012 to make a charge for the collection of some types of household waste, including garden waste. The Council already charges for some types of household waste, for example Bulky Waste and Commercial Waste.\r Currently, the garden waste collection service is provided free of charge and the decision has been made to implement a chargeable system.\r Those who subscribe to this service will be issued with a subscription sticker which clearly shows that a subscription has been paid for the current period. We are looking for a fully managed service which handles the permits for the council from request directly to the resident.\r The contract will be for a period of 3 years with option to extend in multiples of 12 months for a further 2 years.\r \r The Council would propose for this contract to be implemented January 2024.

PR2108- SEMLEP Business Survey 2023 - SEMLEP is inviting bids to undertake a comprehensive business survey within the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) area. This encompasses the following local authority areas: Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes, and the new unitary authorities of North Northamptonshire and West Northamptonshire (which were previously divided into seven district councils, under Northamptonshire County Council). The survey will need to identify the economic challenges and opportunities facing businesses in the area. This information will be used to inform SEMLEP and local authority approaches to economic recovery and the development and delivery of economic development activities.
