DN Colleges - Professional Services Project & Cost Management - Reconfiguration of the existing John Oddell Building at North Lindsey College into a T-level centre of c. 814m². It will create a range of highly flexible teaching facilities to support T level provision for Health & Science and Education & Childcare, as well as an employer engagement suite. The condition of the existing John Oddell building will be addressed through the roof repair and replacement which has caused significant water ingress in recent years. The refurbishment works will primarily cover the roof, internal walls and partitions, internal finishes and mechanical and electrical installations. Refurbishment will provide Health and Childcare T-Levels with a distinctive new identity, supporting the aim to raise the profile and encourage employer/industry engagement. This is a critical first step to reducing the College's overall floor area on the North Lindsey site from 31,000m² to under 20,000m². This project comprises the reconfiguration of the existing Alan Jackson Building at North Lindsey College into a Digital T-level centre of c. 900m² plus some relocated spaces that enable full refurbishment. It will create a range of highly flexible teaching facilities to support the Digital T level provision as well as an employer engagement suite. The condition of the existing Alan Jackson building will be addressed through the roof repair and replacement which has caused significant water ingress in recent years. A reduction/relocation of underutilised hair and beauty salons is planned to accommodate the new Digital curriculum. The refurbishment works will primarily cover the roof, internal walls and partitions, internal finishes and mechanical and electrical installations. Refurbishment will provide Digital T-Levels with a distinctive new identity, supporting the aim to raise the profile and encourage employer/industry engagement. In the short-term the new facility will allow the College to mothball existing classrooms in the poor-quality Lindsey Building.

North East Cambridge Area Action Plan: Commercial Advice and Relocation Strategy - Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council (the Councils) are producing a joint North East Cambridge (NEC) Area Action Plan (AAP). This Invitation To Tender is for the development of a Commercial Advice and Relocation Strategy to assist the Councils in developing a robust evidence base that will underpin the NEC AAP including demonstrating deliverability. The work will consist of three interrelated strands: Strand 1: A commercial audit Strand 2: A Commercial Advice and Relocation Strategy Strand 3: Provision of expert advice The Councils want to work with a contractor or group of contractors who can demonstrate a high level of knowledge and practical experience of preparing and implementing relocation strategies to facilitate area regeneration and overcome constraints posed by unsuitably located or 'bad neighbour' uses. Consultants will be required, if needed, to appear at the Examination in Public of the North East Cambridge AAP and the Local Plan. As this work forms part of the Councils' plan making process, the contractor/s must demonstrate in writing that they have no conflicts of interest in respect of work being sought that cannot be effectively mitigated. Detailed proposals are now invited from consultants.

Risk assessment and outline integration planning to support the transfer of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner into the Mayoral West Yorkshire Combined Authority - AWARD - The purpose of this commission is to appoint an external organisation with suitable experience and expertise to carry out on behalf of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority a due diligence exercise to enable the seamless transfer of the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner functions to the Mayor of West Yorkshire (the Mayor) and the transfer of assets and liabilities to Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA). This must comprise detailed risk assessment and analysis of the scale of transfer, resource requirements, timeframe and associated issues. In order to execute the transfer effectively there is a need for clarity of the assets and liabilities which will transfer to the MCA upon dissolution of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) function as a separate legal entity.
