The Graphic Design for the English Heritage Free Sites Project - English Heritage cares for over 400 properties, and of these, 270 are known as "free to enter sites". These are unstaffed and open to visitors free of charge at all reasonable hours, some have very involved friendship/community group, others are managed by volunteers or partner corporations and many are incredibly remote. Located across the breadth of England and representing a broad chronology, they range from small Anglo-Saxon crosses to Hadrian's Wall. English Heritage (EH) is looking to set up a Framework Agreement for graphic design at free site properties across England. This framework is expected to run up until 31st march 2023 with a potential 1 year extension for the supply of graphically design and artwork interpretation panels for the English Heritage Free Site programme as required. It is expected that each year of the contract we will produce interpretation schemes at up to 20 free sites. Most of these will require just one panel but larger sites may have up to ten panels and associated labeling. Note that this is a framework contract and English Heritage is not committed to commission any quantity of graphics from the successful tenderers. Each project will be commissioned separately. The designer will deliver graphic designs for various managers within the organization who will contact the designer directly and raise purchase orders separately. Please see the ITT documents for further information.
