TBSI - Provision of Temporary Buildings Supply and Installation - Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of the supply (purchase) and insulation of temporary timber style buildings across it school estate, to facilitate short term requirement (around 12 months) for additional teaching space. This contract will be for a period of 1½ years commencing 25th July 2016 until 3rd December 2017. The contract will be renewed on an annual basis depending on previous performance including the ability of the provider to deliver all orders on time. The client requires a prefabricated timber building that can be up and running with in 2 week of order. That will provide a suitable teaching environment for primary and secondary aged students, offering a minimum foot print of 55 square meters. The building will need to be fully compliant with current building regulations and can be sited on none intrusive foundations. The product will need to be flexible in its internal configuration and offer a range of both M&E installations and internal finishes. Please see Appendix 1 for further requirements and specification. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
