This notice pertains to a mini-competition exercise that was carried out under the Drainage Works Framework 2023. Details of this mini-competition are below listed below: Aim: to find a Contractor to deliver the A20 Maidstone Road, Charing scheme. Dates: The scheme needs to be delivered between 1 April 2024 to 10 May 2024 - The scheme is to deliver the following outputs: • 2-way traffic lights required with Manual control at all times between hours 7am to 7pm and adjoining traffic not signal controlled and traffic under signal control sign in the junction of the housing estates • Footway closure to install 7 new gully pots (KCC/HTW/500/009) and connect to existing ditch with a total of 50m of new 150mm twinwall pipe with type z surround (KCC/HTW/500/051). • Clear out 220m ditch and remove spoil from site. • Plain out (5.47m x 148.35m - shown on plans below) 811sqm of the carriageway at 45mm thick and relay with HRA 35/14 with coated chippings 14/20mm PSV 65 at 45mm thick and replace all road markings that may have been removed. • Reinstate 10sqm of the footway with 50mm of 20mm base course and 20mm of 6mm surface course • All works to be carried out to KCC standard drawings and can only be changed by written consent of the engineer.

Non-Housing Drainage - Leeds Building Services (LBS) on behalf of Leeds City Council are looking for one contractor to undertake the maintenance, responsive repairs and refurbishment of drains for non-housing (e.g. Schools, offices and commercial properties). Currently the Council has existing contractors in place to deliver this works. It is anticipated that the procurement will consist of one contractor to deliver responsive drainage works to non-domestic properties. Properties could include: Environmental Services (PC's: Household waste Sorting Sites) Parks & countryside (Park pavilions; depot buildings; cafes; container units; chapels) Learning Skills and universal services (Early Start and youth - offices and children's centres) Safeguarding, Specialist and Targeted (Children's Social Care and Youth Offending - offices and residential homes) Libraries Culture and Sport (Heritage (Mills, Museums): Arts and Events (Town Hall; Millennium Square; Carriage works; Sport (Leisure Centres)) Asset Management (Small industrial units; Investment) Economic Developments (Markets) Highways (Depots) Adult Social Care (Residential Homes, Day centres, Training Centres, Offices) Multi Service Occupancy; Commercial Services (Vehicle Workshop; Offices) The average number of repairs undertaken a year within this area is 500 jobs. Leeds City Councils is obligated to make sure that the drainage system within the boundaries of these buildings are maintained and repaired, so as not to cause a health and safety hazard. If repairs are not carried out this will impact on the health and wellbeing of people who use these premises such as sewerage backing up into the buildings, the smell and gases which can cause respiratory problems. It is proposed that any new arrangements covering Maintenance, responsive repairs and refurbishment of drainage will be on an initial 4-year period. There would be an option to extend this at the councils discretion.

Housing Drainage - This market sounding exercise is being undertaken by Leeds Building Services (LBS) as part of Leeds City Council (LCC) to obtain the views of potential contractors to help with the procurement process and proposed strategy. This market sounding exercise does not form part of any formal procurement process. Hangar D2 and D4, Main Office Roof and Drainage Works - The Authority wishes to establish an Agreement for the provision of Hangar D2, D4 and Main Office roof and drainage physical works, at the Science and Innovation Park in Wroughton, Swindon. D2 & D4 hangars contain objects from the SMG collection. This project will undertake repair works to the roofs to stop water ingress, eliminate safety issues and reduce the maintenance burden currently carried by the condition of these buildings. The SMG Offices provide the administrative space at the Science and Innovation Park for all SMG activity. In generally good condition, the offices were refurbished entirely in 2000. However, there are persistent leaks into the building and this project will carry out repair and maintenance work to the atrium glazed roofs, gullies, rainwater goods and drainage systems to halt the ingress of water into the space.

Liner to be installed with end of soakage zone 6m deep into the chalk • Drill down 5m beyond end of soakage zone to check for ground water level prior to installing the liner, backfilling below with bentonite seal. • Chamber base to be reinstated around liner as per standard detail. • Soakaway to be connected to the existing manhole which shall be rebuilt as a catchpit chamber to KCC/HTW/500/001 TYPE 2A, 1200mm diameter, making all connections as existing, current pipe invert 1200mm • Pipe to soakaway to be set with its invert level with the soffit of the existing pipework so it acts as an overflow. The drainage works consist of the provision of labour, resources, plant and materials to carry out all works associated with drainage maintenance works and general reinstatement works on both highway and non-highway sites. This notice pertains to a mini-competition exercise that was carried out under the Drainage Works Framework 2023. Details of this mini-competition are below listed below: - Aim: to find a Contractor to deliver the Fir Tree Road Tunbridge Wells scheme. - Dates: The scheme needs to be delivered between the 29 January 2024 to 04 March 2024. - The scheme will deliver the following outputs, please note that this is not an exclusive list: • Road closure, advanced warning signs, and letter drops. • To carry out two trial hole trenches across the full width of the carriageway. • To replace three existing gullies with new 450mm x 900mm gully pots, and to also install another four new 450mm x 900mm gully pots. • To install two new Type 2a chambers in the carriageway. • To install a new 2.4m dia, 4m deep Type 1 Soakaway (conventional) on the verge of the Commons to KCC standard. Before excavating for the soakaway, the existing turf is to be cut out, rolled up and set aside for re-use. Some of the best of the soil is also to be set aside for reinstating. • To install a total of 49m. new 225mm Twinwall pipe at various locations within the carriageway. • To install a total of 41.45m of new 150mm Twinwall pipe from the gullies to the new chambers and from the gullies to the new 225mm and 150mm pipes as indicated on the plans. • The existing drainage pipe from existing gully to gully crossing the junction of Fir Tree Rd is the be sealed up at end when the gully is replaced. • To reinstate the trenches of the Type 4 carriageway to KCC standard detail
