SPS 2717 - Housing Adaptations Works (Internal and External) - The Royal Borough of Greenwich (the Contracting Authority) is seeking to enter into contracts with suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake internal and external adaptation works in Council properties for disabled tenants across the borough. The details of works to be delivered under this contract are set out in more detail in the procurement documents. The works have been divided into two (2) lots as follows: Lot 1 - Internal Adaptations (predominantly but not limited to) covering shower over bath; bathroom to wet room conversion; combining WC/bathroom into a wet room; constructing new WC, constructing new bathroom, constructing new wet room, constructing new combined WC/bathroom, constructing new combined WC/wet room; providing wash/dry WC; minor adaptation to existing kitchen; complete kitchen renewal; reconfiguring internal arrangements; forming doorways; widening doorways; new windows; new entrance doors, new patio doors; garage conversions; internal & external drainage; connections to external drainage; electrical; plumbing & drainage services and decorating. Remedial Works at 47 - 53 Mayfield Close, Uxbridge, UB10 0DU - The Council of the London Borough of Hillingdon requires a Contractor to undertake the structural repairs for the entire block at Mayfield Close, UB10 0DU. The proposed repairs are to the Balconies, Brickwork, Rainwater System and Storm Water Drains at 47-53 Mayfield Close. Works will include taking down of the rear brick parapet walls to the balconies, to deck level and cart away, and good brick return walls to both side of each balcony. New railings and gutters for the balcony. repairs to the brickwall by raking out and pointing to a depth of 30mm and install "Helifix" stainless steel bar, 6mm diameter x 1000mm long, with Helibond cementitious grout at 300mm centres vertically, and repoint in positions as directed by Contract Administrator, to include all necessary staging, support etc. Remove gutters, facias, soffits and associated rainwater down pipes to the front, rear and side elevations at main roof level. Repairs to timbers behind facias. Supply and fix new uPVC soffits, (with soffit ventilation), and facias to all elevations at main roof level. Include for stainless steel fixings and silicone sealant to all joints and edges. Supply and fix 200mm half round gutters and down pipes to both front and rear main roofs, complete with leaf guards. Include for new stainless steel fixings and connection to the existing drainage system. Locate clear out and flush through the existing drainage catchment pits, leaving clean and free flowing on completion of works.
