Installation of an LED Communal Lighting System at Missouri Court, HA5 2TH - The London Borough of Hillingdon intends to replace the existing communal Lighting system at Missouri Court, sheltered accommodation. The lighting system extends through open balcony to several blocks. The lighting system manufacturer is Commulite Ltd The new Communal and external Lighting System works and comprise of the installation of 125 LED (Light Emitting Diode) luminaries supplied from3 Control Panels with 3 local test positions. Provision of an Electrical Contractor Service for Blackpool Illuminations - Blackpool Council requires a suitably experienced and qualified service provider to provide an electrical support service to the in-house illumination team on an ad-hoc basis for the electrical infrastructure for Blackpool Illuminations, the illuminations features themselves and the tramway lighting on the Blackpool Tram network. The work will be on an ad-hoc basis when required and therefore Blackpool Council cannot guarantee any volumes of work, however Blackpool Council anticipates that the value of the contract will be approximately £40,000 per annum.

Upgraded electrical switchgear and lighting provision - The Royal Cornwall Museum is upgrading its electrical supply. Works required include new switchgear in a different part of the museum and transfer of circuits once new supply is provided by National Grid. The opportunity is being taken to replace the emergency lighting system and to upgrade gallery and back of house light fixtures to LED plus replacement of control gear. GB-Edinburgh: Refurbishment and Upgrade of Thousla Rock - The Works The proposed project is the upgrade and refurbishment of the AtoN and shall consist of the following works: •Fully strip coatings from tower and access ladder and apply full build of paint to NLB Specification. •Remove damaged screed from top of tower and supply and install replacement Duracomposites GRP grating. •Inspection of metal work including handrail, access ladder and fixings and repair/replace as required. •Replace existing optic unit (redundant cabinet, pedestal, batteries, optic and solar panels to be retained and returned to NLB) - This equipment shall be supplied by NLB. As part of the project works the Principal Contractor is required to organise an early 'Initial' pre-site start Asbestos Survey / Report within the NLB estate via and UKAS accredited asbestos company to identify and hopefully remove any asbestos containing materials before Contractor's personnel arrive on site. During the proposed works, it is essential that the Aids to Navigation are not prevented from operating at any stage that they are required. Details will be provided on the basic operation of these items to allow the Contractor to prevent his operatives from affecting the Aids to Navigation. For detailed description of the works refer to the Bill of Quantities. A site visit is planned for w/c 13 June 2022. GB-Edinburgh: Refurbishment and Upgrade of Sumburgh Head Lighthouse - Refurbishment and Upgrade of Sumburgh Head Lighthouse The main items of project work are as listed below:- DGPS Removal. Sumburgh Head is one of the Northern Lighthouse Boards (NLB), Dynamic Global Positioning System (DGPS) stations. This system has now been discontinued and therefore all items and infrastructure relating to DGPS must be taken down/demolished and removed from site. This includes : •2no. 18m High LTF Towers, as shown on archive drawing 080115(C) •Concrete bases for each of the towers. •GRP Feeder house and concrete base. •Timber stockade fence around feeder house. •Aluminium flagpole arrangement forming farady cage at feeder house - see Drg C-SUM-19 •Lister Engine housed in existing control room. •External Fuel Tank All the above items can be viewed during the proposed contactors site visit. Installation on new bearing ring for Optic Lantern. The current First Order Fresnel Lens is rotated on a float and mercury bath. With the health hazards relating to mercury vapour, this system is to be replaced by a mechanical, motor driven bearing ring. The manufacture and installation of this system, including the mercury removal, is being carried out by Amon Electronics, based in Northern Ireland. The successful tenderer for this project shall take on Amon Electronic as a nominated sub-contractor and they will be expected to coordinate and supervise the installation work, keeping open a direct line of communication throughout. For detailed description of the works refer to the Bill of Quantities. Site Visit A site visit is planned for 31 July 2023. Date to be confirmed. This is a mandatory requirement and any supplier not attending the site visit will be excluded from this tender exercise.
