Monitoring and Evaluation for Headlands to Headspace, Morecambe Bay's Landscape Partnership Scheme - The Headlands to Headspace (H2H) Landscape Partnership wishes to appoint independent consultants to monitor and evaluate the delivery of the Morecambe Bay Landscape Partnership Scheme, and support a mid term review of legacy planning. The aim of this work is to monitor and evaluate the on-going work of the Scheme, feeding into the forward planning process, to ensure maximum benefit is gained from the delivery of the Scheme and a sustainable legacy is achieved. Deadline for submission - 4pm, Thursday 30 July The total cost is to be no more than £12,000 (excluding VAT). Sponsorship and Marketing for an Air Show in Torbay - The Authority is seeking an experienced sales and marketing company with a proven track record and understanding of air show type events. The sales and marketing company will be required to raise £150,000 to deliver a minimum two (2) day Air Show Event in Torbay over a weekend in June 2016. The Authority has secured a start up fund of £60,000 from the Coastal Communities Fund. This funding must bring in at least five million pounds (£5,000,000) in new business and spending to the economy of Torbay through the event. The event must be sustainable year after year. The event is expected to be supported by at least 150,000 visitors across the two days of the event and, if similar to Weston-Super-Mare, Bournemouth, Dawlish and Eastbourne Air Shows, attendance could be much higher. The Air Show is expected to be the largest event delivered in Torbay in terms of visitor numbers in recent years. A Tender will be issued shortly for the provision of an air show consultant to provide aircraft over the weekend with a timetable.

Company Secretariat - The Service Provider will have a key role to play in ensuring that board procedures are both followed and regularly reviewed. The Chair Person and the Board will look to the Service Provider for guidance on what their responsibilities are under the rules and regulations to which they are subject and on how these responsibilities should be discharged. All Directors should have access to the advice and services of the Service Provider and should recognise that the Chair Person is entitled to strong support from the Service Provider in ensuring the effective functioning of the board. Anticipated Duties The appointed representative of the Service Provider will be an officer of NEP and will be expected to undertake the following duties: • Maintaining the company’s statutory registers including: o Present and past directors and secretaries o Shareholders – Past and Present and their shareholdings o Charges on the company’s assets o Minutes of general meetings and board meetings • Filing the following documents: o Annual returns at Companies House o Directors reports and auditors reports o Financial statements including company’s assets and liabilities • Arranging meetings of directors and the shareholders including: o Issuing of proper notices o Preparation of agendas o Circulation of Relevant papers o Taking and producing minutes to record the business transacted and the decisions taken • Informing Companies House of any significant changes in the structure or management, for example the appointment or resignation of directors • Establishing and maintaining NEP’s registered office as the address for all formal communications and ensuring the following documentation carries all the correct information: o Stationery o Website o E mail accounts o Order forms o Frameworks o All Contracts • Ensuring all NEP’s legal documents are kept secure • Establishing and maintaining NEP’s policy on filing and retention of documentation • Administer the following: o Company Insurance o Company Pension Scheme o Compliance with Data Protection and Health and Safety requirements o Intellectual property • Advising directors on their duties, and ensuring that they comply with corporate legislation and the Articles of Association of the company

Employer Support for Construction Apprenticeship Creation and Improvement - Employer Support for Construction Apprenticeship Creation and Improvement Southwark Council invites your organisation to put forward a proposal, to deliver Apprenticeship Delivery and Support to contractors and sub-contractors within the construction sector within the budget envelope of £120,000 over a period of two years. The Council is seeking provision that will build the capacity of employers within the construction industry to employ apprentices. The provider will work with contractors across all tiers of construction, training providers and delivery networks for industry or central government apprenticeship schemes such as the CITB and National Apprenticeship Service. Prospective bidders must have an excellent track record in delivering high quality support to apprenticeship employers within the construction industry and preferably have considerable experience of delivering these services in London. This support service is to be an integral part of the Council’s work within the construction sector including the s.106 programme and a Construction Skills Centre at the Elephant & Castle which will open in late 2015.
