The Air Handling units provide heating, cooling, and ventilation to the Main Hall - approximately 1780.48m3. The replacement system must also be capable of heating, cooling, and ventilating an area of this size. Tenders must include: Provision of safe access to the roof of Community House for the work to be undertaken. The decommissioning, removal, and disposal of the current air handling units. The supply, installation, and commissioning of suitable replacement air handling units. Installation of a control panel in the Main Hall for the new units which includes a user lock out function. HVAC - SMF Extract Arrangement - What is Included The scope of this procurement exercise is the completion of the detailed design, manufacture and testing of the ventilation line for the SMF extract.The following activities associated with design of the SMF extract vent line are included in this procurement specification:-  Project Start-up Meeting  Detailed Design  Design Review  Manufacture  Testing  Supply of design and manufacturing documentation including LTQR pack.  Design substantiation of the Vent Line, Vent Line Support Brackets, and any connections to the Vent Line to Safety Function Class 2 in accordance with SLP1.02.10. The above listed project activities are to be carried out with the involvement of NNL. Regular update meetings will be required with the NNL project team and NNL's Lead Engineer is required to accept key project documentation.The supplier scope of supply shall begin from the specified interfaces in the Cave 6 garage area and end at the connection to the red extract. The supplier shall carryout an assessment prior to commencement of design work to confirm that the discharge of these extracts from SMF operations in to the Red Extract ductwork will not adversely affect the existing Red Extract Ventilation System. The supplier shall supply NNL with the following:-  Vent line (including replacement section of red extract duct work)  Brackets and fixings  Technical and manufacturing documentation including test certificates. What is Optional The following should be included in the suppliers tender return, with a separate price, as anoption that NNL may choose to pick up:  Installation of the SMF extract vent line and the replacement section of the red extract duct work at the NNL Windscale Laboratory (also known as the Active Handling Facility).

Many of these premises have heating ventilation and cooling (HVAC) systems installed within them. he Group is currently seeking to procure a Contractor to deliver preventative maintenance services to all of those systems. This will be undertaken by carrying out regular inspections of all equipment in a planned manner, identifying current or potential future issues and then carrying out any necessary repairs to ensure the systems continue to operate effectively. In addition to the above, the Provider will also be required to attend and rectify the systems as and when they fail to operate effectively or break down completely.
